Background About the Society

Since our foundation in Sydney in 1944 the Book Collectors’ Society of Australia has been a focus for the sharing of enthusiasm by collectors and lovers of books of all kinds.

The society, which operates on an entirely voluntary basis, meets four times a year in Sydney, usually on the first Saturday in March, June, September and December.  The Victorian Branch conducts regular meetings in Melbourne, including an annual “Show and Tell” event.   (more…)
